Formally established the Hanoi Tourism Department
This morning (21/9), the Hanoi People's Committee has announced the decision to establish the Hanoi Tourism Department.
Hanoi Tourism Department was established on the basis of separation of functions of state management of tourism from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in Hanoi. In addition to state management of tourism in the province, the Department of Tourism is also responsible for implementing measures to protect, restore, exploitation, rational use and development of tourism resources, environment tourism, tourist, tourist attractions in Hanoi.
For the promotion of tourism, events, exhibitions ... has been approved, the Department of Tourism was in charge of planning. In addition, the Department will lead and coordinate with relevant agencies to take measures to prevent and stop the activities violating the law on tourism.
Hanoi is the second local in the country, after Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Department separately established, implemented as an important tourist destination in the North, to bridge the provinces of the northern region for both tourism domestic and international. Along with the establishment of the Department of Tourism, Hanoi People's Committee also decided to rename the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Culture and Sports.
